Double Dutch mixers seek ‘perfect pairs’ for wedding cocktails

The best spirits need to be paired with the best mixers so one brand is championing “perfect pairs” by offering free cocktails to couples whose weddings have been postponed due to Covid-19.

Double Dutch is calling for entries to a competition with a prize of 200 “perfectly paired” cocktails for their re-scheduled wedding day. Tying in with Valentine’s Day, it is running the promotion throughout February for UK residents, offering a prize each week to a different couple.

The winners will receive enough Double Dutch mixers and Warner’s Gin or Masons of Yorkshire Gin to make 200 perfectly paired cocktails for their wedding (although this has to be claimed before the end of 2021).

To enter, couples need to visit and tell Double Dutch why they are the perfect pair. The brand is looking for the ultimate love story. How did you meet? What makes you perfect for each other? Why is your love an everlasting love?

Raissa De Haas, co-founder of Double Dutch Drinks, said: “We’re all about finding perfect pairings, from our innovative flavour combinations to creating perfect cocktail serves with our favourite spirit partners.

“We know this year has been challenging for everyone so we are really excited to extend our vision to do something more to help those couples who’ve had their special wedding day postponed due to Covid-19.”

Double Dutch, which was founded by Raissa with her twin sister Joyce, has grown its portfolio of mixers to feature variants ranging from Indian Tonic Water and Ginger Beer to Cucumber & Watermelon and Pomegranate & Basil.
