BrewLDN is going ahead with its annual beer festival this August, featuring over 50 breweries and 150 beers – all in a strictly socially distant setting.
Brew//LDN Summer Sessions will take place at Printworks in London across the bank holiday weekend from Friday 28 August to Monday 31 August.
Visitors will need to book tables for up to six people each, both indoors and outside (with coverings if it rains), and have beers brought to them. The drinks will be complemented by the usual mix of street food and DJs.
To comply with social distancing rules, there will be additional space, limited capacity, scheduled entry and increased washroom facilities.
The days will be split into two sessions: daytime from midday to 4pm and evening from 5pm to 9pm. Ticketing will be per table, which will be £60 for a maximum of six people.
As well as a full spectrum of beers from pale ales to stouts, there will be alternatives such as craft soft drinks, no- and low-alcohol beers, hard seltzers, ciders and cocktails.
Food options will include Only Jerkin’, a specialist in Caribbean flavours such as its signature burger made with fried jerk chicken triple-dipped in a ginger beer batter, and Prairie Fire BBQ, London’s only traditional Kansas-style barbecue, with slow-smoked beef brisket rolls and an award-winning chilli sauce.
Confirmed DJs include Medlar, Ron Basejam, Esa, Raw Silk, Eliza Rose, Ron Basejam and Hot Toddy.
Brew//LDN Summer Sessions will be taking over the Vanways and Container Yard spaces at Printworks which is at Surrey Quays Road in Rotherhithe. More information and tickets at brewldn.com.
